- Is a building permit required to install a box?
- It depends on the land, the length of the installation and whether the unit stays mobile or becomes fixed. In France, an installation of less than three months is exempt from formalities in most cases (article R.421-5 of the planning code); beyond that, a prior declaration or a permit may be required depending on floor area and zoning. We review your situation with you before any order.
- How long from order to the first guest night?
- The box arrives furnished. Once the ground is prepared, installation and commissioning take half a day. The production lead time is given with the quote, based on the current order book.
- How does unmanned operation work?
- Online booking and payment, access code sent automatically, smart lock, remote telemetry. Only cleaning between stays requires an on-site visit, which you handle or delegate locally.
- What is the real autonomy of the Off-Grid Box?
- 48 hours for two adults in normal use: 300 L of fresh water, a 10 kWh battery recharged by 2.8 kWp of solar, and a 250 L grey water tank. Beyond that, refilling and emptying take one technical visit.
- Do you offer rental instead of purchase?
- Yes: long-term rental, or seasonal rental with redeployment (the box moves site with the season). Each formula is quoted individually.
